To keep your water bowl looking its best, clean it periodically with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft microfiber cloth, then dry the surface completely to help prevent hard water spots. If stubborn mineral deposits develop, a solution of equal parts white vinegar and warm water can safely remove most calcium buildup. For heavier deposits, a product such as CLR® (Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover) may be used on affected areas for no more than 30 seconds before thoroughly rinsing with clean water.
