Its rounded rectangular profile follows the natural shape of linear enclosures, creating attractive flame coverage along the straight sides and curved ends for a more complete, luxurious presentation.
Built around The Outdoor Plus’ patented Bullet Burner technology, this premium gas fire pit burner uses dedicated brass tips and a performance-focused gas hub to create fuller, more realistic flames. The Bullet Burner system is able to produce up to 50% more flame while using up to 30% less gas, offering dramatic visual impact with improved fuel efficiency.
Each burner is manufactured in the USA using stainless steel construction with solid brass burner tips for exceptional heat resistance and long-term outdoor durability. Sizes from 18" x 6" through 72" x 6", with BTU outputs ranging from 70,000 to 250,000. Custom Sizes Available. A straight linear burner creates one narrow row of flame. The Racetrack Stainless Steel Bullet Burner creates flame around an elongated perimeter, giving rectangular and oval-style fire features greater visual depth and more complete coverage.
Its softly curved ends complement modern architecture while helping prevent the corners of the fire feature from appearing visually empty. Stainless steel construction provides excellent outdoor durability, while the brass burner tips are engineered to withstand heat and harsh weather conditions. The larger manifold models further support balanced gas distribution across demanding residential and commercial installations.
For designers, builders and homeowners seeking an architectural alternative to a basic straight burner, the Racetrack design offers an exceptional combination of flame coverage, contemporary style and professional performance.
A linear burner produces one straight line of flame. A racetrack burner forms an elongated closed loop with rounded ends, creating flame along both sides and around the ends of the fire feature.
Choose a racetrack burner when you want flame concentrated around the perimeter of an elongated fire feature. An H burner adds a central crossbar and is better suited to installations where more flame through the middle is desired.
The 60-inch and 72-inch models use a double-inlet manifold to distribute gas across the extended burner assembly. This helps support more consistent flame performance from end to end and adds approximately five inches beneath the burner.

When sizing a racetrack burner, compare both its length and its six-inch width with the fire feature’s interior opening. Leave sufficient clearance around the straight sides and rounded ends for airflow, approved media and heat separation. For the 210,000- and 250,000-BTU manifold models, have a qualified gas professional size the complete supply system—not only the ¾-inch inlet—to ensure a balanced flame across the entire burner.
