A linear burner creates one straight line of flame. A rectangle burner follows the perimeter of the fire feature, providing flame along both sides and across each end for broader visual coverage.
Choose the rectangle design for a wider, more architectural flame pattern. A racetrack burner is only six inches wide and is better suited to narrower enclosures requiring a softer, elongated perimeter flame.
The rectangle burner uses one continuous perimeter loop. A double rectangle burner adds an interior loop, creating substantially more central flame coverage and higher BTU output.
The 48", 60", 72" and 84" models use a manifold configuration to distribute gas across the extended burner assembly, helping maintain consistent flame performance from end to end. The manufacturer notes that manifold models use a double inlet and require additional clearance beneath the burner.
